Netheimur provides technology services and related software/solutions, including (where applicable) IT support, hosting, managed services, and business applications. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to maintain security, reliability, and compliance.

You agree not to misuse the Service. You may not:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

4.3 List and Sending Standards
We do not support sending unsolicited email. We maintain suppression lists for unsubscribes and bounces and take reasonable steps to prevent abuse.
5. Fees, Billing, and Refunds (if applicable)
If you purchase paid services:
- Fees and billing terms will be shown in an order form, proposal, or checkout flow.
- Unless required by law or explicitly agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable.
- Late payments may result in suspension of service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations (including marketing and data protection laws).
- The accuracy, legality, and integrity of content you provide or send using the Service.
- Maintaining backups of your data unless a backup service is explicitly included in your agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
Netheimur and its licensors own the Service and all related intellectual property (software, designs, trademarks, and content), except for Customer Content.
You retain ownership of content you submit (“Customer Content”). You grant Netheimur a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party providers (e.g., email delivery, analytics, payment processors). Netheimur is not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.
9. Confidentiality
If you receive non-public information from Netheimur (e.g., pricing, security details, documentation not publicly available), you agree to keep it confidential and use it only for the purpose intended.

11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Netheimur will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Netheimur’s total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Netheimur for the Service in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim (or ISK 20,000 if you have not paid Netheimur for the Service).
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Netheimur harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., by email or on the website). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes shall be brought before the competent courts in Reykjavík, Iceland, unless mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
